Our story

Bon Sens (= Common Sense in English), products that make sense for your body and our planet.

We met at the University in France, where a beautiful friendship was born. At that time, we didn't yet have in mind creating a brand. But in 2017, everything changed.

One day, Benjamin went to the supermarket to buy a deodorant. With the Yuka app in hand, he scanned product after product... and the results were clear: all of them had poor ratings, even those labeled organic.
From this experience, one sentence stood out to us:

Attention

« Just because it’s organic doesn’t mean it’s good. »

We were outraged. How could such a commonplace, everyday product contain so many harmful or allergenic ingredients, yet still be presented as healthy? That's when we decided to take action and create a brand that truly delivers on its promises.

Creating cosmetics that make sense

We have chosen to carry out the R&D development of our products in-house, and to manufacture our products in France, with one absolute requirement: to offer clean, effective, and pleasant-to-use products.

No compromise, no concessions:

  • more than 95% of our products get 100/100 on Yuka.

  • the vast majority of our products are certified organic by Ecocert

OUR PACKAGING CHOICES

For us, our commitment doesn't stop at formulas. We've redesigned our packaging to reduce its impact on the planet:

  • Promote packaging made of glass and recyclable aluminum as much as possible,
  • elimination of unnecessary over-packaging,
  • formats optimized to reduce the carbon footprint linked to transport.

And because we want to give meaning even in manufacturing, we collaborate with workers with disabilities, because humans come before machines.
